Calibration – when, where and how

DICOM calibration is one of the defining characteristics of a diagnostic display. DICOM specifies when, where, and how to calibrate a display. DICOM recommends regular calibration, in the center of the display with a 10 % target and 20 % gray surround, using a calibrated photometer.

Sectra tests display of breast tomo images

At the recent North American IHE Connectathon in Cleveland, Sectra (STO: SECT B) successfully completed testing of the IHE profiles MAMMO and DBT (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis). The testing was done using Sectra PACS which implements the Image Display and Image Manager actors of these profiles.
