Users can now attach all kinds of standard contrast agent containers in an exceedingly economic way, the manufacturer reports. `Our new reservoir for contrast agents acts as an all-rounder and convinces by an optimal usage of contrast agent volume, as well as its flexible utilisation. CA scanbags, pre-filled hand-guided syringes and CA bottles can easily be attached on the integrated male and female luer lock access of the reservoir. Subsequently the system is connected to the spikes on the injector and is ready for use. The multi dosing function, which is typical for ulrich injectors, is supported by the reservoir.’
Due to the easy, quick way of decanting and particularly due to the usage of up to 24 hours, the system guarantees a quick patient changeover, the company adds. ‘Small contrast agent amounts are collected in the reservoir and actually can be used for the following injection.’
