On 18 July 2005, The US News & World Report, one of the highest circulation weekly magazines in the United States, ran an article on the Best Hospitals in the United States and selected Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHU) as the No. 1 institution in 2005 out of the 176 top American hospitals. JHU has been ranked No.1 for more than 10 years in a row.
