Longer FOV, faster scans: United Imaging at EANM 2026

United Imaging is presenting its complete molecular imaging portfolio at the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) 2026 Annual Congress.

The company is highlighting the clinical and research capabilities of its new product introductions and leading evidence-based discussions on the future of medical imaging. Central to the exhibition is the uMI Panvivo family, a scalable PET/CT platform offering clinical flexibility through multiple axial field of view (AFOV) configurations. The platform's 24 cm, 30 cm, 53 cm, 71 cm and 107 cm variants are all CE marked.

The uMI Panvivo ES and EX systems, with 53 cm and 71 cm AFOVs respectively, address the scanning efficiency and imaging limitations of conventional short-axial PET/CT. They are designed to bring rapid, low-dose examinations into standard daily clinical practice, delivering precise and comfortable imaging. Their single-bed coverage from the head to the thorax or abdomen also enables dynamic and parametric imaging, opening new pathways for investigating cross-organ pathophysiological mechanisms, such as the heart-brain axis.

United Imaging is also unveiling the uMI Panvivo FX1, the newest addition to the portfolio. It extends the AFOV to 143 cm on the same platform. With single-bed coverage from the vertex to the lower extremities, the unit is engineered for fast 15-second whole-body imaging, low-dose imaging at 1 MBq/kg and high-resolution whole-body dynamic imaging. Its compact, air-cooled design and end-to-end AI-powered workflow aim to make long-axial PET/CT more accessible for advanced clinical performance, theranostics and translational research.

The scalable uMI Panorama family is recognized as the first PET/CT family to deliver sub-200 ps time-of-flight (TOF)2 for every patient scan. The flagship uMI Panorama GS features a 148 cm AFOV for comprehensive whole-body PET imaging. The family combines optimized sensitivity, true TOF and clinical applications such as CT-free attenuation correction (AC) and AI-driven reconstructions, aiming for exemplary image quality and rapid scan times with low radiation dosing.

United Imaging recently announced that the uPMR Zenith has received the CE mark for the European market. The company describes it as the world's first3 LIVE-Dynamic PET/MR. With a 42 cm axial field of view, the system offers high sensitivity and TOF resolution. Its high-performance gradient and radiofrequency subsystems transform MRI from a static "photography" process into a continuous "videography" process, while acquiring concurrent, real-time PET measurements. This architecture enables a 15-minute whole-body scanning slot, enhancing clinical throughput and the patient experience.

The United Imaging team can be found at Booth #506 in EXPO X5 until October 21.
