Seca presents lightweight scale for those on the road

Healthworkers, public health system staff and nutritionists look after patients in their homes. It is important that these carers have a robust, durable scale to determine the exact weight of their patients. A scale which is also easy to transport. With the floor scale seca 876, seca gmbh & co. kg., Hamburg, has designed a model which is the ideal solution for mobile use. At only 3.5 kg, it is a real lightweight among the range of digital scales. It can be safely stowed away in the case seca 421 for transport.

The 20 mm high display is integrated in the flat scale and shows the weight clearly and precisely. The 876 has a capacity of 200 kg/440 lbs/31 sts, weight is displayed in 100 g/0.2 lbs steps up to 150 kg/330 lbs and then in 200 g/0.5 lbs steps. With a water level and four levelling feet, the scale can always be adjusted to cope with the different floors at all locations.

The mother-child function (2 in 1) function is invaluable when babies and small children who are not yet able to stand alone are to be weighed. Here, the previously stored weight of the mother is tared away and only the weight of the child she holds in her arms is shown on the display.

Power is supplied by the batteries provided so that, here too, nothing stands in the way of mobile use. The automatic switch-off ensures that there is no unnecessary power consumption.
