DeepHealth completes iCAD acquisition for breast cancer AI tools
Diagnostic imaging service provider RadNet, Inc., announced that it has completed the acquisition of iCAD, Inc., a company specializing in AI-powered breast health solutions.

iCAD operates AI systems for breast cancer detection, risk evaluation, breast density assessment, and breast arterial calcification analysis across more than 50 countries. These technologies will be incorporated into DeepHealth's screening and diagnostic solutions with the aim of improving cancer detection rates and workflow efficiency. The integration of the two companies' technologies and datasets is expected to enhance AI model performance and provide image interpretation and workflow solutions for cancer screening and detection.
The acquisition provides access to iCAD's network of over 1,500 healthcare provider locations globally, potentially extending DeepHealth's reach to over 10 million mammograms annually. The expanded access is designed to support AI adoption and screening compliance across various communities, including underserved areas, the company reports.
