It will host a wide range of education programmes, including hands-on workshops, simulation-based training and multidisciplinary clinical exchanges. By bringing together experts from different countries and clinical specialties, the facility aims to foster open dialogue, share best practices and support continuous skills development for both experienced and early-career clinicians, with a strong focus on safety, quality and clinical outcomes.

The Milan location was chosen for its accessibility within Europe and its proximity to leading hospitals, universities, and scientific societies, enabling close collaboration between Fujifilm and the wider medical community.

"This new Training Center in Milan reflects Fujifilm's long-term commitment to advancing healthcare in Europe and beyond," said Managing Director Takemasa Kojima. "By providing a dedicated environment where healthcare professionals can learn, share expertise and experience our latest endoscopy technologies, we are strengthening our partnership with the medical community. We believe that continuous education, combined with innovation, plays a vital role in improving clinical outcomes and the quality of life for patients worldwide."

"Together with our established training programmes in Europe and the Growth Emerging Market (GEM) regions, and innovative solutions such as our mobile EndoRunner concept, we aim to bring training closer to healthcare professionals, wherever they are," added Saskia Papa, Head of Training and Education, Fujifilm Healthcare Europe. "The European Endoscopy Training Center is the next important milestone in Fujifilm's commitment to providing endoscopy training and education across Europe. By lowering the barriers to attend courses and making high-quality education more accessible, we hope to support clinicians in enhancing their skills and, ultimately, improving patient care."
