Fujifilm to unveil new ultrasound platforms at ECR 2026
Fujifilm Healthcare Europe will present the new Arietta DeepInsight x ultrasound technology platforms at the House of Fujifilm experience at ECR 2026: Rays of Knowledge.
Developed using deep learning AI, Arietta DeepInsight x is a range of ultrasound platforms designed to support the clinical imaging workflow from diagnosis to treatment. The range includes the Arietta 850 DeepInsight x, Arietta 750 DeepInsight x, and Arietta 650 DeepInsight x.
A showcase event and symposium at ECR 2026 will present Fujifilm's AI-based Arietta DeepInsight x technology, featuring a faculty panel. Events will take place at the House of Fujifilm, in collaboration with the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, on 4 March 2026.
Arietta DeepInsight x is designed to enhance image clarity and improve uniformity for in-depth imaging. It supports high-sensitivity Carving Imaging to emphasise tissue structure, and enables blood flow visualisation through Detective Flow Imaging (DFI), Fujifilm's micro colour imaging mode.
Using Fujifilm's deep learning technology, the platform enhances spatial and contrast resolution for consistently clear, high-resolution ultrasound images. The system also includes eFocusing Plus with automatic focusing for uniform image quality across the entire screen.
Real-Time Virtual Sonography (RVS)
Arietta DeepInsight x addresses the challenge of visualising the three-dimensional structure of organs during ultrasound examinations. Through real-time fusion of ultrasound with other imaging modalities, RVS allows direct side-by-side comparison of lesions, supporting localisation, treatment planning, and interventional guidance.
DICOM Auto Search enables automated workflows through automatic data retrieval and simplified virtual image alignment.
Automatic Analysis and Image Recognition
Arietta DeepInsight x includes iRecognize, a deep learning-based feature that enables automatic selection of body mark type and probe mark based on abdominal diagnostic images. The platform also includes Shear Wave Measurement (SWM) to support diagnosis of hepatic disease by evaluating tissue stiffness. Attenuation measurement (iATT) allows estimation of hepatic steatosis (fatty liver), complemented by the new Steatosis Backscatter Index (SBSI¹) for non-invasive hepatic steatosis assessment.
¹ The Index of Liver Steatosis is for reference purposes only and is not intended for diagnostic use.
Also Launching: L52H 25 MHz High-Frequency Linear Transducer
Fujifilm's new L52H 25 MHz high-frequency hockey-type linear transducer will also be presented at ECR 2026. Compatible with Arietta DeepInsight x and other platforms*, it is designed for high-resolution imaging across a range of applications, with a particular focus on radiology and musculoskeletal diagnostics.
* Compatible models include Arietta 850 DeepInsight x, Arietta 850 DeepInsight, Arietta 850, Arietta 750 DeepInsight x, Arietta 750 DeepInsight, Arietta 750, and Arietta 650 DeepInsight x.
