‘We use MiS Activ for immobile patients and for pressure sore therapy. The suspension elements under the body’s risk areas are supported by electromotive so-called activators. ‘In lieu of the patient’s very deficient, self-induced movements, a tiny raising and lowering triggers tactile and vestibular stimuli and thus stimulates the patient’s perceptiveness. MiS Activ also supports therapeutic nursing of patients suffering stroke, MS, or CCI, and rehabilitation patients who suffer perception disorders due to an underlying neurological disease.’
Völker beds are at MEDICA/ComPaMED: Hall 14, stand A 20.
