Panasonic will launch a 4K Ultra HD micro camera at the forthcoming Compamed tradeshow in Düsseldorf, starting on Monday 16 November. The 4K micro camera (GP-UH532) has 3840x2160 resolution at 60p. The camera features various HDMI or SDI outputs and can simultaneous output at 4K and 2K. It also has the smallest 1/3 inch camera head on the market, alongside cable lengths of up to 15m. Because the micro camera complies Medical Electrical Standards IEC60601 (Medical Standard IEC60601-1 / IEC60601-1-2), it can be used in a variety of medical applications.

As the 4K micro camera GP-UH532 provides a 4K/2K simultaneous dual channel output, it enables to use 2K infrastructure that already exist,  without using a down converter  to create a 2K signal. Multiple systems can be build up and combined with the 4K micro camera GP-UH532 to create an customized solution. This simultaneous output possibility makes it a cost effective solution for a variety of applications.

The 4K micro camera has options for colour enhancement, has the capability to zoom in to pre-selected cropping areas and has a new user-friendly layout. In addition, the camera enables up to six personal profiles to be stored on a USB memory.
