New solution for low-volume pipetting presented at SLAS 2026

Analytik Jena will be presenting new automation solutions for laboratory workflows at the SLAS 2026 International Conference & Exhibition (February 7–11). A particular highlight is the launch of the PULSEspencer R – the first model in a digital and contactless dispenser series in the company's portfolio.

The new system is designed to enable precise dispensing of liquids such as DMSO, water, small molecules, and biomolecules using disposable syringes. The system is based on three key principles: miniaturization, direct dilution, and rapid volume distribution. These features help to streamline workflows and reduce resource consumption, the company reports.

With its compact design and modular concept, the PULSEspencer R supports a wide range of applications – from drug discovery to genomics – and offers users simple, reproducible handling.

The company points out several main benefits:

  • Faster assay setups thanks to intuitive software and contactless dispensing
  • Miniaturization saves reagents and reduces waste
  • Compact design for flexible integration into any laboratory

Another highlight at SLAS 2026 is the tutorial “CyBio FeliX as Your Excellent Source of Protein – Now Including the Tough Ones. Automated purification from antibodies to membrane proteins in their native lipid environment.” The event will take place on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 2:00–3:00 p.m. EST in room 102A. In this tutorial, Analytik Jena demonstrates how the CyBio FeliX platform enables automated workflows for antibodies, labeled proteins, and even membrane proteins, in cooperation with Cube Biotech.

Analytik Jena invites SLAS attendees to visit their booth 2243 and explore the company's intelligent automation solutions for more efficient, sustainable, and future-oriented research.

Other topics in focus:

  • Protein Purification: Hourly live demonstrations with IMCS tips
  • NGS Workcell: Next-generation sequencing as a key topic at booth no. 2243
  • Sustainability: Low-volume pipetting with CyBio FeliX and ceramic tips
  • Cell Assays: CyBio FeliX in a safety cabinet setup for cell assay applications
