Maquet Critical Care with new Anesthesia System

MAQUET Critical Care today announced the introduction of MAQUET FLOW-i, the company's new anesthesia system, at the world's largest medical trade fair, MEDICA 2007.

MAQUET Critical Care’s FLOW-i is a modular ergonomic system that combines advanced ICU ventilator performance with state-of-the-art anesthesia delivery. With the launch of MAQUET FLOW-i, MAQUET Critical Care is advancing anesthesia through features such as modularity, adaptability and high ventilatory performance.

“From discussions with leading professionals every day, we know that enhanced respiratory management during anesthesia is an extremely important issue to hospitals,” said Dan Rydberg, Managing Director, MAQUET Critical Care. “

With the new MAQUET FLOW-i approach, MAQUET Critical Care combines ventilator performance and leading anesthesia delivery in one ergonomic system. MAQUET FLOW-i will be available for sale in selected countries from June 2008 and for delivery in September 2008.
