Labs Expo 2026: Two Days of Practical Knowledge, Technology, and Expert Discussions for Laboratories

On March 18–19, 2026, Poznań will host the fourth edition of the Laboratory Equipment and Technology Trade Fair, Labs Expo – an event combining presentations of modern technological solutions with an intensive, content-rich conference program. This year’s agenda has been designed for practitioners, including laboratory managers, QC and R&D specialists, metrologists, auditors, designers, and representatives of industry and research institutions.

Technologies in Practice – Presentations by Companies and Market Experts

LABS EXPO 2026 will feature presentations demonstrating how modern tools are applied in the daily work of laboratories. Participants will explore confocal microscopy and 3D imaging in biological research, as well as advanced particle analysis methods, from laser diffraction to the Coulter method, including interpretation of results in terms of quality and measurement repeatability.

Experts from Solution4Labs will showcase how automation and robotics improve laboratory efficiency, while the integration of machine learning with LIMS enables optimization of production and quality control, for example in winemaking. Microsolutions will present AI-based intelligent LIMS systems, RADWAG will share best practices in weighing and equipment supervision, and Polygen will demonstrate the use of mass spectrometry and MALS detectors for biomolecule analysis. Examples of digital laboratory connectivity and process automation using the Chromeleon CDS system will also be presented.

Practical sessions will include workshops on microbiological cleanliness and cleanroom operations (Cleanproject) as well as training on laboratory design and investment process management (laboratoria.net), giving participants actionable skills to implement in their own laboratories.

Science and Industry – Sector Conferences and Institutional Programs

The Faculty of Chemistry at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań invites participants to the 18th edition of the “Chemistry in the Service of Cosmetics” conference under the theme “Effective and Responsible: A New Era of Cosmetic Products.” Topics include innovative raw materials, biopolymers, automation in cosmetic formulation, UV testing, CMR classification, and R&D-driven product development.

The Polish Laboratory Research Club POLLAB will celebrate its 35th anniversary with a conference focused on laboratory management systems, technical competencies, and laboratory integration. Key topics include flexible accreditation scopes, personnel supervision, and verification of measurement equipment.

A significant addition to the program comes from lectures organized in collaboration with institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, covering modern research techniques and scientific innovations. Participants will learn about spatial and cellular transcriptomics, comprehensive microbiome and metabolome analyses, and the design of functional nanomaterials for nanoelectronics, biomedicine, and environmental technologies.

Equally important is the conference “Accreditation, Metrology, and Standardization in Laboratories,” organized jointly by Central Office of Measures, Polish Center for Accreditation, and Polish Committee for Standardization. The program addresses new regulatory directions, effectiveness of management systems, statistical inference on sample homogeneity, and the role of standardization in the laboratory industry.

The portal laboratoryjnie.pl will host an expert session titled “Laboratories in Practice: Research Reports,” discussing common reporting errors, calibration certificate interpretation, and ISO 17025 requirements.

Specialized Seminars and Interdisciplinary Insights

The program also features specialized seminars highlighting modern solutions and innovative technologies. Participants will learn about the latest industrial nanotechnology developments (Nanonet), practical applications of measurement equipment in rocket engine testing (PUT Rocketlab Student Club), and forensic topics – from tire tread trace analysis to document verification (Criminalistics Laboratory of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań).

A Program Addressing Real Laboratory Challenges

The entire Labs Expo 2026 agenda focuses on the key issues facing modern laboratories: digitalization and process automation, data and information system management, compliance with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 17025 requirements, metrology, quality control, infrastructure design, and personnel skill development. The event offers two days of intensive knowledge exchange, technology premieres, and practical case studies, designed for professionals who actively shape the quality and future of laboratories in Poland.
