Exhausted? Share a `Happy Hour´
Regulars at MEDICA well understand the energy needed to stay the pace. A welcome break at the end of the days could be found at the receptions or `Happy Hours´ held by certain exhibitors who will be happy to welcome visitors to their stands.
Hosts at the Ontario Ministry of International Trade and Investment – International Trade Branch stand, for example, will hold a Canada Networking Reception on Thursday 20/11 in Hall 16 – Stands G42 and G50) and, at other times and dates, in association with Germany.
Baden-Württemberg International, based in Stuttgart, is inviting visitors to a ‘relaxed’ Happy Hour today (Wednesday, 17.30. Hall 16, booth C 41) to meet and learn more about companies, universities and research institutes from around the world, including Ontario (Canada) and Baden-Württemberg (Germany). This is a chance not only to meet the interesting participants, but also to enjoy salmon, Swabian pretzels, Canadian wine, and beer from the Baden region.
A Job Happy Hour will also be held by the same organisation on Thursday (17.30 on 20/11). Hall 16, booth C41) when visitors can learn more about the Baden-Württemberg region in terms of investment, or to think about the offering of attractive jobs and excellent working conditions with unique career opportunities, particularly in engineering, the organisers say.
The team from Diversionary Therapy Technologies of Toowong, Australia, will hold Happy Hours every day at 17/30 (Hall 17, stand A57) when can join the Australian participants to chat and share a glass of their country’s wine or beer. (A really friendly lot, the Aussies).
Indutec of Brussels is also ready to welcome visitors on Thursday at 18.00 (Hall 17, stand D58) to meet and enjoy the Happy Hour over Belgium beers.
Our EUROPEAN HOSPITAL team will also be pleased to meet you, any time during MEDICA, to present you with our free publications, discuss your publicity and advertising ideas, and communicate with medical specialists and scientists who may have ideas to share with EU and greater European countries via our journal. (Hall 7, Stand 15).
