Accuvix V20 hits the international ultrasound market

Sonoace*, the Germany-based 3D/4D ultrasound systems specialist – the first to develop and market 3-D ultrasound image technology – is launching its new Accuvix V20 model internationally. This model is the new generation product in the Accuvix series, Medison's well-known flagship model.

Demonstrations of this technology-intensive product, which presents new cutting-edge imaging and design engineering, began at major international conferences and exhibitions with ISUOG 2008 in August. Forthcoming events will include the RSNA this November in Chicago.
The VolumeOS, the fundamental operating system of the Accuvix V20, is commonly designated a hardware-software structure optimized for 3D/4D ultrasound diagnoses, helping practitioners who are used to 3D/4D diagnoses to minimise redundant time with confidence in diagnosis, the firm explains.
‘Current state-of-the-art technologies such as 3D XI, XI Vocal are reinforced and adapted to Accuvix V20, and a number of revolutionary new technologies, including Color STIC, Inversion 3D, Ovix and VCE, which enable effective and precise diagnoses, are included, offering even more vivid 2D images, not to mention far more powerful and rapid 3D/4D performance. Such powerful functions will provide the highest level of system response time, thanks to the optimum design of the function structure over the overall system.’
Medison adds that the new model offers much faster and more convenient diagnosis. ‘The sophisticated ergonomic design includes a large 10.4 LCD intuitive touch panel and an articulated arm provides the optimal environment of comfort and functionality when performing the ultrasound examination.’
