Powerful Multi-Purpose DR System
The KODAK DIRECTVIEW DR 9500 digital radiography system features a design that allows it to move around the patient to facilitate optimum patient positioning and enhanced care, especially for patients who are seriously ill or in pain. The ceiling-mounted U-arm tube and detector, combined with multiple operator interfaces, equips this single-detector system to perform exams that normally require dual detectors. The bucky and tube are always aligned, enabling faster positioning and greater patient comfort and convenience and the system can accommodate a variety of mobile radiographic tables.
Carestream Health will also introduce the cost effective KODAK DIRECTVIEW 3500, a compact digital radiography system that delivers the small footprint, functionality and convenience required by a broad range of healthcare facilities.

Digital Capture Systems
Carestream Health has dramatically revamped its KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR platform to further enhance image quality, improve technological efficiency and increase ease of use. In addition, the company will introduce two new single-cassette computed radiology systems - the KODAK DIRECTVIEW Classic and Elite CR Systems - that deliver exceptional versatility and value.

Digital Imaging for Mammography
Carestream Health will also demonstrate its comprehensive range of digital mammography solutions and new RIS mammography technology as part of the company’s ‘systems approach’ to digital mammography. The mammography module for the newest KODAK CARESTREAM RIS platform includes tools that help automate and personalise patient communication and simplify preparation of reports required for MQSA certification.

CAD Solution for Digital Mammography
In addition to showing computer-aided detection (CAD) software for its CR-based mammography platforms, Carestream Health is showing FFDM software for full-field digital mammography systems. Multi-modality breast imaging workstations will also be demonstrated integrated with third-party CAD software for ultrasound and MRI equipment to facilitate reading and interpretation of CAD results.

Specialised Mammography Solutions
Carestream Health will demonstrate its rapidly expanding digital mammography portfolio, including new CR software that delivers enhanced exchange of information with other vendors’ digital mammography and RIS/PACS systems. It also provides reduced digital image artifacts at the skin line.

Management of medical images and information
Carestream Health’s newest version of its KODAK CARESTREAM Information Management Solutions (IMS) offers healthcare providers more convenient viewing of medical imaging exams and other types of patient documents, while facilitating the integration of images with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
The company will also highlight enhancements to its eHealth Managed Services, which provides the ability to create remotely hosted networks to share patient data among affiliated healthcare providers.
Carestream Health’s latest PACS platform will support workflow grid computing, facilitating storage and retrieval of information via a shared infrastructure. Grid computing increases the availability and redundancy of a multiple site system and provides efficient management of distributed storage systems and rapid delivery of archived data to any review location.
Latest key features of Carestream Health’s RIS include advanced speech recognition with voice-generated command and control; specialised features to streamline the workflow of mammography images including automated MQSA reporting and patient follow-up; and a complete outpatient practice management system that includes patient scheduling, radiologist interpretation, report distribution, management reports and billing. The new RIS software also includes Web-based distribution capabilities for referring physicians.
Portable x-ray/CR
For bedside imaging, Carestream Health’s compact KODAK Point-of-Care CR-ITX 560 System, a portable x-ray/CR system - is available and in use in intensive care units, clinics, nursing homes and hospitals of all sizes.

Leading Edge Laser Printers
A product of Carestream Health’s leadership in medical printing, the DRYVIEW 5800 Laser Imager provides both flexibility and reliability in a compact package. It delivers up to 75 radiographic films per hour with a time to first print of 85 seconds. The new medical printer offers 325 pixels per inch resolution and is an ideal companion to the compact KODAK Point-of-Care CR systems.
The new KODAK Point-of-Care CR 360 System delivers enhanced image quality and excellent connectivity with RIS, PACS and other information management solutions. Carestream Health’s comprehensive portfolio of laser imaging systems also includes KODAK DRYVIEW 6800, KODAK DRYVIEW 8900 and KODAK DRYVIEW 8150 Laser Imagers.
