Carestream spotlights healthcare IT systems at RSNA

Carestream shows imaging analytics software that can improve early detection rates for many conditions as part of its Clinical Collaboration Platform (CCP).

This software can calculate liver density from a CT chest or abdomen study to detect a fatty liver; identify emphysema by detecting levels of trapped air in the lungs from a non-contrast CT chest study; and determine levels of coronary calcium from non-contrast CT chest studies in addition to assessing bone density. The CCP platform (also available in the cloud) makes patient images and data readily available to authorized users and its modular, standards-based platform reduces costs and boosts efficiency. It integrates into an existing ecosystem, streamlines administrative tasks and delivers a scalable deployment.
