A multiparametric cardiac monitor

The Infinity is a pre-configured multiparametric monitor for adult, paediatric and neonate monitoring in intensive care units, rescue units, emergency, nurse and surgical centres.

Manufactured by the Brazilian firm CMOS Drake do Nordeste Ltda (http://www.cmosdrake.com.br) the equipment combines the 10.4” high-resolution active matrix colour LCD with the intuitive pointand-click user interface and a robust body with integrated handle to enhance mobility, the firm reports. ‘All these featured performances offer efficient real-time graphic trending monitoring in various different types of environments.

Different options are available for preconfiguration according to individual needs.’ Features include basic parameters such as 3-lead ECG, Sp02, NIBP and temperature; on-screen graphic and numerical trending of all parameters; options such as Capnography, 2-channel IP, 2-channel temperature and cardiac debit; visible and audible alarms with adjustable alarm limits; access to monitoring centres, and configurations can be set and dedicated to specific needs. The battery is also rechargeable.

Optional features include a trace printer for ECG monitoring printouts; internet connection; wireless mouse; output for connection to an external monitor; mobile phones messages. The firm reports that the most requested versions are ECG, Sp02, PNI, Temperature; ECG, Sp02, PNI, Temperature, Capnography and ECG, Sp02, PNI, Temperature, Capnography, PI.
