European Patients’ Forum Launches New Website
The European Patients Forum (EPF) redesigned its website as a vital communication tool for its members and for the health community as a whole. This decision resulted in an improved website which offers a fresh new look that technically provides its online visitors with significant improvements in navigation and easier accessibility for users with disabilities.
EPF President Anders Olauson says, “Access to timely, quality information is becoming more important for patients and their organisations. And information on research policies, opportunities and outcomes has never been more vital”.
EPF, the leading umbrella organisation of pan-European and national coalition patient organisations active in the field of public health and health advocacy, launched today a new and enhanced, interactive member-focused website www.eu-patient.eu .
The new website of EPF reflects its vision of patient centred, high quality equitable healthcare in Europe, and the strength of its work.
Since its inception in 2003, EPF has experienced exceptional growth in both its policy influence and membership. Today, the new website reflects the breadth and dynamism of EPF, charting its progress on core EU health dossiers and programmes.
EPF President Anders Olauson further says: “The launch of our new website marks a new direction for EPF – one that will reinforce our position as a rich source of information for patients and patient organisations within Europe on patient centred policy making. Our members and their needs are vital to us and this website reflects our commitment to keeping our members and readers with current information that can also support their work and their goals.”
