Maquet launches new solution for digital OR-integration

The newly developed AV CONFERENCE PREMIUM MODULAR enables the modular and individual adaptation of central functions to specific customer demands.

Optimised usage of patient-related image and data sources in the OR, simple equipment operation, full integration in the clinic's IT workflow and compatibility with existing equipment and systems are the core demands when it comes to digital OR-integration. MAQUET fulfils these expectations with AV CONFERENCE. OR teams are already using AV CONFERENCE systems around the world, as the hub for digital communication in the OR.

The newly developed AV CONFERENCE PREMIUM MODULAR enables the modular and individual adaptation of central functions to specific customer demands. The hospital will be able to deploy different components as required. Any subsequent changes in customer demands can be accommodated at any time with a retrospective system expansion.
Three modules make up the core of AV CONFERENCE PREMIUM MODULAR: The basic module as the medical video communication system for distributing images and videos. Here, you can switch between video, image and data sources (endoscope, OR field camera, PACS, C-arms, etc.). Module 1, for documenting and archiving and module 2 for the live transmission of different image and video data from the operating theatre, for educational or training purposes, for example.
This makes it possible to create targeted solutions for customer requirements starting from an entry-level solution, through the intermediate solution and on to the full solution (basic module + module 1 + module 2).

In the future, it will also be possible to implement step-by-step expansions of the AV CONFERENCE PREMIUM MODULAR system, making it possible, for example, to integrate the operation of OR tables, lights and roller shutters into the complete solution.

Thanks to the expandability of the individual modules and the possibility of extending the entire system, MAQUET offers the hospital the best possible security of investment.

AV CONFERENCE PREMIUM MODULAR will be available throughout the world from July 2009.
