For obvious reasons, COVID-19 has commandeered the lion’s share of recent medical research – and it shows: New insights on mortality, comorbidities and – perhaps most importantly – vulnerabilities of the virus are coming in at an unprecedented rate. However, new findings presented at the Alzheimer’s conference AAIC show that other research fields have been far from dormant in the meantime.
