Breaking down workflows in radiology, pathology and lab medicine into digital data might be the common denominator to unite these specialties. AI algorithms increasingly stitch the gaps through standardisation, automation and structuring. This development is only fueled further by the Covid-19 pandemic, bringing us closer to a interdisciplinary ‘diagnostic board’.
